Our startup idea (Kepler Biosciences) won first place in the Bio/Pharma Track of the inaugural MEDTECH HACKATHON Greater Bay Area program. Based on the Lean Launchpad programs developed by the US NIH and the National University of Singapore, selected teams participated in a 6-week program comprising courses, interviews with experts, and mentor feedback. The final goal was to develop a successful business idea with limited resources. We are happy to announce that our pitch topped the Bio/Pharma track and we won an opportunity to present our idea at the Asia Summit on Global Health 2025. The technology platform and innovative cancer therapeutic were developed from the tireless efforts of our PhD students Qing (Icy) Tang, Yuanping Wei, and Ruiqi (Ricky) Ma. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our mentor Dr. Zhengzheng Shi.
